BRIAN BANK – Executive Chairperson

Brian was born on the 9th July 1958 and is married to Heather – they have two sons

Brian qualified as a Chartered Accountant (SA).  He studied for BCOM and BACC at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg.

His working life started in 1980 when he served his articles of clerkship at Arthur Anderson in Johannesburg.  During 1985 he was promoted to Manage Arthur Andersen and in 1987 he joined Moores Rowland as Partner

TREVOR JOHN LEON -  Deputy Chairperson

Trevor was born on the 15th May 1957 – he is not married and has three daughters

Trevor qualified as a Logistics & General Manager.   He studied for his Diploma in Logistics and General Management at the University of Johannesburg.

His working life started in 1980 with Amalgamated Beverage Industry as General Trade Representative in 1996 he was absorbed by Sasko Milling and Baking as a Depot Logistics Manager and later moved to Tibbett & Britten SA as Transport, Warehousing and Network Logistics Manager, where he was to manage freight and goods locally, nationally and into sub-Sahara.  In 2003 he joined Epol – a division of Rainbow Farms (Pty) Limited as Logistics Manager (Procurement), amongst his normal duties he was also instrumental in securing the ISO9001 accreditation for the Rainbow Group.

Dennis was born on the 6th June 1950 – he is married to Alma and they have three children

Dennis qualified as a Geologist and Business Admin. Manager.  He studied for BSc and Bus. Admin. Honours at both Natal and Potchefstroom Universities.  He is now working as a Private Consultant to many clients.

His working life started in 1969 where served and qualified as a Land Surveyor in 1979 he joined the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) where some of the project he was commissioned to work on achieved the Gold Medal Award from the Brussels Industry Institute for Quality selections for the export products.   In 1989 he joined Hudaco Industries a top 100-listed company, with an annual turnover of R1 billion as General Manager and later was promoted to Managing Director.
 
Dennis has many core skills as well as being registered with GODISA, Department of Arts, Culture, Science and Technology, as a Trainer and Consultant – Reference No. 0027.

SCHALK KRUGER (ENGINEER)

DENISE WALKER – Chief Operating Officer

Denise was born on the 8th September 1952 – she is not married and has two children

Denise qualified as General Admin. Manager.  She studied for her Certificate and Diploma in General Management, Administration Management to Project Management at the Graduate Business School in Kwa Zulu Natal.

She numerous post and in 1995 she was invited to the Board of Rentcorp as Development Director.  Her in depth knowledge and expertise were gained in construction related industries.   Later she was involved inter alia extensive research regarding Outdoor Advertising.  Input and participation for the formulation of various regulatory outdoor advertising mechanisms, active management at Director level of large and often complex outdoor advertising portfolios, ranging from Bill boards to electronic media displays.

Her achievements pre and post 1994 were widely acknowledged and recognized by the media, Local Government and the captains of industry.   Her experience is underpinned by a well established network of experts and pride  herself in relationship building and management.

DONALD STANLEY LEON

Donald was born 21st May 1936 – he is married to Shirley and they four children

He studied Human Resources and worked as a Trainer within the Furniture trade and on retirement he started his own Furniture Restoration and Repair Company.  His community and social involved is well documented.

JAMES HOOMAN  -  Financial Director

James was born on the 9th March 1956 – he is married to Marian and they have two daughters.

James qualified as Financial Director.   He studied for Bcompt at Unisa in Johannesburg.  He is now working as a Financial Manager / Director for Holts (Pty) Limited

His working life started in 1973, when he worked for Davidson, Ogilvie, Bucke & Delaney in Pretoria as an auditing clerk.   In 1977 he moved to Richards Bay, Kwa Zulu Natal, were he worked as a senior clerk and later was promoted to Assistant Cost Accountant.  Later he moved and joined Genrec Limited as their Financial Accountant and a few years later he was promoted as Financial Manager.   In 1994 James joined Holts (Pty) Limited, a Car Care Chemical Distribution company in Johannesburg as their Financial Manager, later he was promoted to Director of Finance and Operations, a post he still holds today.

MAURICE DESMOND RAI – Investment Portfolio Manager

Maurice was born on the 20th November 1945 – he is unmarried and has three children

Maurice qualified as a Personal Financial Advisor.   He qualified through the working and study programmes of Old Mutual SA.

Although he started his working life as a Tyre Design and Development Manager at Dunlop Tyre SA and joined the Mutual in 1979 and during 1988 he qualified as Financial Advisor.  He climbed the corporate ladder and in 1995 achieved Production Manager Status.  In 2004 he became Senior Financial Advisor, a post he still holds todate.
